Who We Are

Games People Play, Inc. (GPP) is a multi-faceted golf operation that includes golf retail, a 30-acre golf practice center and golf teaching center. For 25 years, GPP has been Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana's favorite place to purchase top-of-the-line golf equipment and accessories. GPP is the region's largest retailer of name brand pro-line golf equipment, where only authentic original equipment manufactured (OEM) products, both new and used, are sold. GPP was founded by Jeff and Marilyn Williams in 1984.

GPP is a multiple winner as one of America's 25 Best Golf Shops. GPP has also been selected by Golf Range Magazine as a Top 100 Golf Practice Facility in the United States. Only three companies in the United States have been selected as a combined retail and range Top 100 Winner. All those who are involved with GPP take pride in these accomplishments and are honored to be categorized at such a high standard.

Our People

We know golf! The associates of GPP are comprised of individuals who come from a variety of golfing backgrounds. They all have a passion for playing golf and serving fellow golfers.

Director of Sales Austin Williams is a former four-year collegiate golfer and three-time Beaumont City Golf Champion -- a feat accomplished by another Beaumont native and renowned PGA and Champions Tour Professional, Bruce Lietzke. Austin's knack for business and leadership led him to be chosen to receive the prestigious "40 under 40" award presented by Sporting Goods Business Magazine in the spring of 2009. From a list of over 500 nominations, this coveted award was presented to 40 individuals under the age of 40 for their accomplishments within the sporting goods industry.

Sales Manager and "Jack of All Trades", Dustin Camp, leads a sales team that is extensively and continuously trained by many valued GPP suppliers such as Callaway, Ping, Adams, Taylor Made, Nike, Mizuno plus many more. Dustin is a great help to every department and GPP is grateful to have him on board.

The sales team is composed of custom fitting specialists who know the specifics of the latest in golf technology. Many of our sales personnel are single digit handicap players who understand the needs of both advanced and novice golfers alike. Whether GPP sales team members are on the showroom floor, on the phone, or chatting live on the web, personable and courteous customer service is always guaranteed.
